JOIN THE ASSOCIATION OF MANAGED CARE DENTISTS.
Who are we? For many years the Association of Managed Care Dentists has been the only active organization available for Managed Care Dentists in the United States. We are a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization, governed by our Board of Directors - practicing dentists. We are independent from any dental plans.
OUR TWO MAIN PURPOSES ARE:
1. Provide Organized Leadership: By developing contacts with government legislators and maintaining communication with Dental Plan Administrators, we continually strive to influence developments in the managed dental care arena.
2. Education: Our annual symposiums (complete with C.E. units) cover topics ranging from practice management issues all the way to legislative concerns. We also publish newsflashes throughout the year on topics of immediate importance to your practice.

With your annual membership, you'll receive the following:
Provider Input on Plans – Not all plans are created equally, and not all deserve equal and not all deserve equal attention. Provider feedback on plan design is often welcomed. Because we represent a large provider group, we have an advantage over the individual.
Industry Trade Associations – Partnering with other industry trade associations for increased visibility and strength, our goal is to be an active partner in setting standards and protocols.
Regulatory & Legislative agencies – Working with legislators and regulators to ensure the DMHC understands that every enforcement and / or other activity has a direct impact on dentists, and patients – either positive or negative.
